JUST WAR

War is one of the most important topics that I'm preoccupied with. It is a tragic fact of human civilization, a 'product' of the patriarchal society and evil that reflects primitivism and the low level of the development of humans and the community. War is a fact that overshadows all human achievements.

This work was realized in collaboration with poet Leigh Herrick and consists of six drawings in pencil and six aluminum plates with imprinted fragments of Leigh Herrick's poetry.

Each drawing consists of a couple dozen separate sketches which I use to make sculptures, and I'm continuously working on casting all of them in bronze.
