THE PHENOMENOLOGY OF TIME - THE HISTORY OF ISTRIA

In this project, my interest in the exploration of time as a phenomenon is sustained by the comparison of differences in the passage of time within history as a succession of occurrence, and the passage of time in art as a cyclical succession of creative actions.
The idea behind the project was conceived and realized in two parallel courses:
In the first course I repeated the contours of Istria as a defined geographical area, filling it with collages and symbols representing historical changes with regard to the authorities that ruled that region. Directly from this follows a perception about the rectilinear passage of time in conjunction with the history of mankind.
The second course was conceived around a presentation of artistic elements that do not repeat themselves in time, but as they are not in a hierarchical relationship, they are characterized by a cyclical movement.

What this project has shown is that time exists in a multi-dimensional form and that its passage in the existence of mankind is characterized by different repercussions. It also demonstrated that everything is in motion and that it is never-ending.
