POLITICAL GULLIVER

Pula, Croatia
2000.

Performance 'Political Gulliver'
Performed by: Branko Gulin and Enzo Morovic

The performance took place during a campaign before local elections while parties were fight for votes.
On one of the city squares in Pula, I tied the Gulliver (Enzo Morovic) and forced him to 'smoke' ten cigarettes at once.
What I wanted to say is that we are all suckers who 'smoke' (a play of words in Croatian, smoke=suck) speeches and promises of the parties whose only final goal is power. People are a big mass (Gulliver), but are 'tied' by the media and propaganda.
